Quantum Flooring Accessories supports the restoration of a 201-year-old Grade II listed landmark. Located in the heart of Buile Hill Park and surrounded by landscaped gardens, the 201-year-old Buile Hill Hall Mansion has long been one of Salford’s most recognisable heritage buildings. Now fully restored as a venue for weddings, events, and community functions.

Clapham Picturehouse Cinema, located in the heart of Clapham, has become a beloved cultural hub since opening in the 1990s as part of the Picturehouse chain. Housed in a former 1920s theatre building, it blends historic charm with a modern, community-focused atmosphere. Over the years, it has developed a strong local following, serving not just as a place to watch films but also as a social space, complete with a popular bar and café.

As part of a wider refurbishment programme at Forest School, the Drama Theatre underwent a significant upgrade to enhance both usability and safety. The project included updating the flooring and staircase access areas used by students, staff, and visitors. Prime Flooring Essex was contracted to manage the flooring installation, selecting Quantum Flooring Accessories to supply high-performance stair nosings.

The Hexagon is a well-established multi-purpose venue located in the heart of Reading, originally built in 1977. It hosts a wide variety of performances and events, including drama, dance, comedy, classical music, and rock and pop concerts. With a capacity of up to 1,600 people, much of the seating is arranged in steep, banked tiers with stepped access throughout the venue.

The AO Arena in Manchester, one of the UK’s largest indoor entertainment venues, hosts thousands of visitors for concerts, sports events, and shows. Ensuring the safety and smooth movement of large crowds is paramount, especially during peak exit times and emergency evacuations. During a recent refurbishment project, the AO Arena looked to improve stairway safety.

Following the tragic Grenfell Tower fire in 2017, the UK government implemented more stringent fire safety measures to protect residents in multi-storey housing. This prompted local authorities like Barnet Council to re-evaluate and upgrade the fire safety features in their social housing stock.

Fairham Business Park in Nottingham, a newly developed commercial hub, recently welcomed the installation of high-quality flooring solutions.

A distribution centre was being purpose-built for Amazon in Aylesford, Kent. This was to be constructed on the site of an old papermill factory. The new building would consist of a warehouse and an attached main office.

The Northern Health and Social Care Trust and The Southern Health and Social Care Trust are two of the largest healthcare associations in Northern Ireland. Quantum Flooring's CCFM1 and CCFM2 Floormitres have been fitted in their hospitals, along with QCF35 Cove Former and UCS3 Capping Strips.

Project Triathlon was conceived as a new build warehouse development at DP World London Gateway. It was designed specifically for use by DHL Supply Chain.

Albion Mills is a high-end, purpose-built office complex near Willerby Shopping Park in Hull. It is a two-storey building, with numerous office suites for businesses to utilise.

Robinsons is one of the largest independent breweries in the UK. It has a rich history, with the family brewing in the centre of Stockport since 1849. Its main building is called the Unicorn Brewery, after the pub which the family originally ran from 1838.

Loughborough College provides a range of courses in further education, along with apprenticeships and professional qualifications. It is based on one of the largest student campuses in Europe, sharing the area with Loughborough University. Over 2000 students attend the college, with some living in adjacent halls of residence.

Middlesbrough College is the largest college in Teesside, with around 16,000 students. It is located on one campus in Middlehaven on Middlesbrough’s riverfront. The main college building has won numerous design awards as a landmark project in the regeneration of the area.

Hadrian’s Tower is the tallest building in Newcastle at 82 metres high. Located in the heart of the city, it is a residential skyscraper with 162 luxury apartments. The tower has 26 storeys, and incorporates a champagne lounge and a coffee house among other communal spaces.

Logan Hall is an auditorium at the University of London. It is a venue based in the famous 20 Bedford Way building, and is used for various events such as award ceremonies, film screenings and conferences.

Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf is a tourist attraction at Bournemouth Beach. The 18 hole course is part of Bournemouth’s famous seafront, which has over 7 million visitors per year. For safety purposes, it was necessary to fit Stair Nosings onto a fire exit staircase at the site.

Granite Exchange is a development in the centre of Newry, Northern Ireland. It opened in 2018, and is conveniently placed midway between Belfast and Dublin.

The Majestic Hotel is a famous landmark in Harrogate. It first opened in 1900 and is a magnificent example of grand Victorian architecture. The hotel is set in 8 acres of land and boasts 170 rooms, along with 8 large function rooms.

St Michael’s is a newly built Primary School located at Larkhill in Salisbury. The school boasts state of the art facilities including a dance studio and a sensory garden.

The BBC is the world’s oldest national broadcasting organisation, with sites and studios across the UK and around the world. BBC Broadcasting House is the BBC’s headquarters, where many of its flagship news, sports and current affairs programmes are recorded. With the BBC’s major radio networks also operating within, Broadcasting House has around 6,000 staff.

The timber bull nosed stairs leading up to the treatment rooms in the Birmingham based Hawkins Dental Practice had become worn through daily foot traffic over many years. The stair floorcovering and consequently the stair nosings needed to be replaced.

Quantum Flooring Solutions is a hard act to follow at the Aldwych Theatre in London Bespoke stair nosings have been fitted on the stairs in the Theatre that accommodate the gauge of the extra thick carpet laid in the foyer and on the stairs throughout the public areas of the building.

Quantum Flooring Solutions supplies the stair nosings for a most prestigious hotel in Belfast. Recently restored, the Titanic Hotel in the heart of the old Harland and Wolff shipyard is an historical inspiration of how the past can become the future.
