Quantum Flooring Solutions is delighted to announce that it has launched a brand-new set of awards for 2022. The Q-Awards are open to architects, specifiers, flooring contractors, and other project leaders. They will reward the best projects which utilise Quantum Flooring products in three categories, with the winners judged by industry experts.
The categories in the Q-Awards are:
• Design. This award evaluates new projects incorporating innovative colour schemes and safety features.
• Safety Improvement. This award looks at projects where existing infrastructure is improved upon to comply with current legislation.
• Full Installation. This award aims to find the best entire new project, from concept to completion.
These awards will be held throughout 2022, so that by the end of the year there will be numerous winners in all categories. These winners will be entered into the final round of judging, where an overall winner of the Q-Awards Project of the Year will be decided.
The overall winner will receive a fabulous trip to Lake Garda in Italy for a wine tasting weekend for two! Second place will win a spa weekend away for two, and third prize will be a driving day experience for two.
The judges who decide the category winners are Paul Iddon, Vice President of the Manchester Society of Architects; and Steve Kean, Quantum Flooring’s Sales Director, along with other experts from Quantum Flooring.
The first awards were judged on the 30th June, and the winners were:
- Design: Dave Wilson of Midlands Flooring – Loughborough College
- Safety Improvement: Steven Holland of Steven Holland Flooring – Robinsons Bottling Plant
- Full Installation: Matthew Owston of M & S Carpets – Marlowe House
Congratulations to all of the winners! They each win a bottle of Moët Champagne, and a Q-Awards trophy.
The next deadline for entries is the 29th September, to be judged on the 30th September.
