The slip resistance of the tread material used in a Stair Nosing is an important element for the safety and performance of stairs.  All Quantum Flooring treads have been tested for Mirco Roughness, which can be direct compared to PTV, any reading over 20 Rz is considered a 1 in 1 million risk of slip. All Quantum Flooring tread materials (standard, PlusTread, Ecoglo) have been laboratory tested and have a micro roughness reading, taken off new and used treads, of  greater than20 Rz in both wet and dry conditions making them low slip risk.
