The Declaration of Performance (DOP) is a key part of the Construction Products Regulation. It provides information on the performance of a building product. Each construction product covered by a European harmonised standard or for which a European Technical Assessment has been issued needs this Declaration and has to be CE marked. This helps increase transparency and improves the functioning of the Single Market. There is no harmonised standard or technical assessment for stair nosings or flooring accessories therefore a DOP is not required.

Quantum Flooring Accessories do not need a Declaration of Performance owing to their products being component parts. Quantum Flooring Accessories do, however, declare their products are “fit for purpose”. All Quantum Flooring Accessories products are manufactured and assembled to a Quality Management System accredited to ISO9001.
