Qwood is expanding its glazing bead range with the introduction of two new Putty-Line Beads, designed for joiners manufacturing, repairing and refurbishing traditional sliding sash windows. Developed for projects where maintaining the character and appearance of traditional joinery is essential, the new profiles offer a putty-line glazing detail that complements heritage-style window designs while providing a practical alternative to conventional timber putty-line beads.
Available in two profiles, QW-PLB9x9 and QW-PLB12x9, the new beads feature 45° and 54° profiles respectively, giving joiners options to suit different detailing requirements. Whether manufacturing new sliding sash windows, undertaking sympathetic repairs or carrying out refurbishment work on existing joinery, the Putty-Line Glazing Beads provide another option for achieving the fine, traditional glazing detail associated with classic window designs.
