FSC® CERTIFICATION

Qwood takes sustainability seriously and is fully committed
to the protection and the improvement of the environment for future
generations. Wood has successfully achieved chain of custody certification from
both Forest Stewardship Council ® (NQA-COC-004986) and the Programme for the Endorsement
of Forest Certification (PEFC) Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (NQA-PEFC-COC-1358).

FSC® chain of custody certification confirms that the wood
fibre in Qwood products has been sourced from low risk forests and is
controlled through a chain of custody process as it makes its way along the
supply chain from source to final product.

Qwood is proud to be the only timber composite manufacturer
of window trim profiles in the UK to be certified under FSC, underlining our
commitment to sustainable practices. We work with the timber industry to ensure
that Qwood customers can be confident that the products they buy from us have
been ethically sourced.

Qwood profiles are available as FSC® Controlled Wood to our
FSC certified customers. FSC controlled wood mitigates the risk of forest
products originating from unacceptable sources. FSC controlled wood
requirements prohibit and are designed to avoid: illegally harvested wood, wood
harvested in violation of traditional and human rights, wood from forests with
threatened high conservation values, wood from forests with genetically
modified trees and wood from forests converted to plantations or non-forest uses.
