Fire Cavity Barriers create separation within concealed spaces, which prevents fire from spreading from one area of a building to another.

Building regulations necessitate that concealed spaces and cavities in the structure or fabric of a building, are sealed or sub-divided using cavity barriers to restrict the hidden spread of smoke and flames. This is of great importance since many buildings are honeycombed with hidden cavities and voids within the roofs, floors, and walls.
