Insulated 
Cavity Closers

Insulated cavity closers are the economical way to achieve Building Regulations compliance when closing cavities around window and door openings. Cavity closers can be used with all types of door and window openings including timber, uPVC and aluminium. It overcomes the traditional difficulties of closing cavities at wall openings by providing a simple and efficient solution to thermal bridging. Available in a range of sizes to fit all cavity widths with sufficient design flexibility to tolerate rogue cavity widths, thus reducing time and cost on site.

FEATURES

  • Easy to install, options to fit with or without fixing ties.
  • Economical.
  • Available for first fix or second fix applications where a frame former is not required.
  • Cavity widths covered from 50-300* mm (*special profiles on request).
  • Accepts all window and door materials.
  • For use in brick & block and timber frame construction.
  • Prevents cold bridging, damp penetration, air infiltration and condensation.
  • Complies with Part L Building Regulations when the window is installed with a minimum set back of 30 mm.
  • Available for standard or check reveal cavities.
  • Weather Rating: Standard/Flush = Severe.
  • Check Reveal = Very Severe.
