– Casement window – A type of window.

– Sliding Sash window – A traditional window, traditionally in timber. 

– Bolection Mould – A moulding which projects beyond the face of a panel or frame.

– Parting Bead – This is a long narrow seal which is best in Qwood. Its fitted to create separate channels for the top and bottom sash to run in and holds the sashes in place. It is also used to help weatherproof the window.

Staff Bead  – Used around the edge of the Box Frame to hold the bottom sash in place and create a seal to prevent heat from escaping and to improve the energy efficiency of the window
