The British Board of Agrément (BBA) is the UK’s leading construction certification body. Formed in 1966, the BBA provides independent approval of products manufactured for the construction industry. The wide-ranging, expert knowledge of the BBA ensures that its certificates indicate safe and high-quality products.

Dacatie produces a range of insulated cavity closers. Dacatie Cavity Closers help to prevent heat loss, and cold and moisture penetration around windows and doors. Dacatie Fire Rated Cavity Closers are also available for buildings when a fire barrier is necessary. Dacatie’s products are available in a range of widths, including its Multiclosers, which can be trimmed to the correct width easily on site.

All of Dacatie’s Insulated Cavity Closers are BBA accredited. This is particularly important for the issue of fire integrity. BBA certificates provide a guarantee that Dacatie Fire Rated Cavity Closers maintain fire integrity for up to 60 minutes.

All Dacatie Cavity Closers well exceed the required value of minimal thermal resistance, complying with Part L of the Building Regulations. Dacatie insulation is also rated zero for GWP and ODP.
