Carbon Reduction Roadmap
Quantum Profile Systems Ltd (QPSL) recognises that its processes and products have an impact on the environment, and it is committed
to improving its performance through various sustainable practices. This has led to the production of a Carbon Reduction Roadmap, which lays out the company’s general aims, along with specific targets for 2025 and 2035.
This Roadmap provides details, insights, and data to show and explain the challenges a manufacturer has to face in reducing carbon
emissions. This includes Scope 1 and 2 emissions, which can be directly affected by the environmental practices of the company itself, but also looks into Scope 3 emissions, which affect the carbon footprint of a product but may be largely out of a company’s control.

Environmental Policy Statement
Through an Environmental Policy Statement (EPS) Quantum Profile Systems Ltd (QPSL) supports sustainability. The impact the company and its processes may have on the environment is minimised by the application of an Environmental Management System. This is endorsed by ISO 14001 accreditation. Improvements that reduce waste, and the recycling of processed materials add to the company’s commitment to sustainability.
With regards to BREEAM and LEED the BRE advises that no QPSL Products gain credits under the Green Guide Specification, since they do not enhance any of the categories within these building certification schemes. However, QPSL works to ensure that LEAN and environmentally sustainable processes are applicable to the products it produces, and they all comply with latest REACH guidelines. QPSL is a Green Business member and supports the sustainable objectives of The Groundwork Trust.
The company’s Environmental Policy Statement is the basis for its Environmental Management System. This is endorsed by ISO14001 accreditation. Processes that reduce waste, and the recycling of materials add to this commitment to sustainability.
